mmm cupcakes

Anyone that knows me knows that I am a baker, not a cooker (if that makes sense).  My husband is in charge of making dinner, and I do dessert.  Although he makes the best creme brulee, flan, and lava cake you will ever find!  He just prefers to cook meals.  Me, I would just make a meal of desserts   The other day I saw where people were making Pierre Herme’s eclairs all over the blogosphere.  So I decided to try it.  Those were the best freaking eclairs I ever had, and I never imagined it would be so easy to make.  Today I found a group called Iron Cupcake, that does a cupcake challenge once a month.  Guess who just signed up? 

P.S. And baking is so much better with the FRESH outta the chicken and duck eggs!
