our exchange students most requested meal

    Posted by K on October 23, 2007

So far the most requested item for dinner has been tuna fish casserole.  Now don’t get me wrong I like tuna fish casserole, it’s a great comfort food, but our girl really loves it.  As in, she eats two big helpings of it!  You have to understand, portions in America are not like they are in China.  We eat more, and we eat a lot of unhealthy things comparatively.  So when I see her really liking something, it makes me happy.  I never said tuna fish casserole was healthy or anything, but it’s quick, easy and yummy.  Here’s the recipe.

2 cans tuna fish in water (drained)

1 can cream of mushroom or cream of potato soup

    1 can peas

    1 sleeve of ritz crackers

mix the first three items together and place in a casserole dish crunch the crackers and cover the top.  add some shredded chedder cheese if you like on top of the crackers.  cook in a 400 degrees F for 15 to 20 min.  Done!
