  • Happy New Year!

    Posted by K on February 7, 2008

We went out to dinner for Chinese New Year last night. Our exchange student was feeling homesick. New Year is their biggest holiday and she always spends it with her family. I think she felt better after dinner. She spoke with her family before she left for school, since there is a 13 hour time difference. Basically New Year’s came while she was sitting in Chemistry class. Here’s how she taught us to say Happy New Year in Chinese. The words at the top are spelled how it sounds, not spelled correctly.

    happy new year
